Between-Stage Buffs, Prestige, New Stages, Balance
Hey friends!
We’re still alive and still building this humble dopamine machine. While visible progress is limited right now (lots of behind-the-scenes wires are being crossed and uncrossed), here’s what we’ve been chipping away at:
Prestige System
We temporarily dropped this to get the demo out the door, but it's under construction again.
Prestige will unlock once you’ve maxed out every current stage and will be based on your total ball count. Resetting will send you back to stage one, but you’ll gain a new currency to unlock global upgrades and access brand new stages. Long-term progression, here we come.
Between-Stage Buffs
We’re playing with the idea of little choices or bonuses between stages — things like multipliers, small skill tree-esque options, or randomized perks. Nothing too game-altering, just a bit of extra sauce.
More Polish
We’re working on making the game more video-friendly so we can start showing it off a bit. That includes better visual feedback, more satisfying moments, and things that might maybe hopefully get traction on TikTok or Instagram. (This is extremely hard! Please send vibes.)
Balance & Tuning
We’re still watching how players progress through each stage and adjusting things like:
- Gold Coin timing and value
- Upgrade scaling
- Drop cooldowns
It’s a delicate dance between chaos and click-fatigue, and we’re trying to land in the “hnng just one more upgrade” zone.

We’ve gotten some amazing feedback from players with ideas that would genuinely make the game better — more variation, more chaos, more juice.
We’re listening! But we’re also prioritizing getting to 1.0 without exploding.
Some of the bigger ideas (like game modes or deeper systems) may get scoped into DLC or post-launch updates. For now, our focus is on delivering a polished, complete core game that makes your brain go "mrrr" in just the right way.
